Professor Lee is recognized as a pioneer in explainable AI (XAI) for her seminal contributions, particularly her Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP) framework, significantly advancing the interpretability of machine learning models.

Professor Su-In Lee, the Paul G. Allen Endowed Professor of Computer Science at the University of Washington (UW), earned her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2009 under the guidance of Professor Daphne Koller. She joined UW in 2010 after serving as a visiting Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University.

The goal of Prof. Su-In Lee's lab is to fundamentally advance the way AI is integrated with biomedicine by addressing novel and forward-looking scientific questions, enabled by AI advances.

We are a group of passionate researchers consisting of CSE Ph.D. students, and MSTP (M.D./Ph.D.) students pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science.

Professor Su-In Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Genome Sciences at the University of Washington. She received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2009.

Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electronics (Primary) and Electrical (Double) Engineering from Inha University in 2023. My research interests lie in machine learning and 3D computer vision. Specifically, I am broadly interested in 3D generative models, 3D reconstruction, motion generation, and 3D editing.
