Tsunade (綱手) is a descendant of the Senju and Uzumaki Clan, and is one of Konohagakure's Sannin. She is famed as the world's strongest kunoichi and its greatest medical-nin. The repeated loss of her loved ones caused Tsunade to later abandon the life of a shinobi for many years.

Tsunade (綱手, Tsunade) is the Fifth Hokage of Konohagakure. She is a descendant of the Senju and Uzumaki Clan, and was famed for being the world's strongest kunoichi and its greatest medical-nin. Together with Orochimaru and Jiraiya, she is one of the Legendary Sannin.

Tsunade is the granddaughter of the First Hokage. She is one of the legendary Sannin. After his failed invasion of Konoha, Orochimaru approaches Tsunade to get her to heal his arms. While she initially refuses, Orochimaru offers to revive Dan and Nawaki in exchange for healing his arms. Intrigued, Tsunade is left a week to consider the matter.

Tsunade (綱手), featured in the Japanese folktale Jiraiya Gōketsu Monogatari (児雷也豪傑物語, "The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya"), is Jiraiya's wife and is taught slug magic by an old man whose real body turns out to be a slug. Her magic is strong against snake magic.
