For sale is a 1982 SUNN 215B 2x15 speaker cabinet. This cabinet is in great overall shape with just some minor wear on the tolex and front baffle. This cabinet is wired at 4Ω and can handle 160 watts continuous.

It's in excellent shape for it's age, including the original Sunn Magna 158 15" speakers which sound great. I have not played bass through it, but it is an absolute doom machine for drop-tuned, or extended range/baritone guitar.

2010年6月16日 · I have both 200S and 215S cabs (I think the 215S and 215B are pretty much the same), and I think they are pretty similar tonally, but the 200S is a little deeper; more "thump" on the bottom.

2020年1月2日 · If you want a true classic Sunn bass cab, look for a 200S with two JBL D-140’s, or 2000s(a bit larger, same drivers, a ‘fridge’), or a 215B from the early 70’s, port down the side like a Mesa Diesel.

2018年6月17日 · The 200s (and similar; 2000s, 215B, 215BH, 215S, 215RH) IS a "reflex horn" cab. That is the designation of the enclosure type. No, it's not a 'horn' per se: hence the qualifier "reflex." For the sake of succinctness, I referred to that angled baffle/wave guide/whatever you insist on calling it, as the horn; way to be retentive.

2007年7月20日 · My first bass amp was a Sunn Beta Bass head with a Sunn 2x15 cab. The aggressive punch from the pre-amp gave me a progressive sound no-one within 20 miles could match. I was renowned for my tone (basically the same as the late 70's early 80's when progressive punch was defined only by John Entwhistle, Chris Squire and Geddy Lee).
