He did not mention Surah Fath in this list. Shaykh ‘Abdullah Sirajud Din (rahimahullah) states that ‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has enlisted most of the Surahs with authentic virtues but he has omitted a few. After quoting this, Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah cites Surah Fath as an example of the omitted ones. (Tadribur Rawi, vol. 3 pg. 492-493)

‘Whoever reads these five Surahs after each Salah i.e. After Fajr, Surah Yasin, after Zuhr, Surah Fath, after ‘Asr, Surah Naba, after Magrib, Surah Waqi’ah and after ‘Isha, Surah Mulk will be among the cup bearers of the pond of Kawthar.’ Answer. We are unable to locate this Hadith in any authentic Hadith book.

One who recites Surah Qadr twenty one times after Maghrib on the first night of Ramadan, will attain barakah in his sustenance like water flowing down the hill, means his sustenance will increase as fast as the water flows down the hill. Answer. I haven’t seen this in any authentic primary Hadith source.

Imam Yafi’i (rahimahullah) has stated: “A pious person told me, “Whoever recites Surah Fath thrice on the first night of Ramadan when the crescent is sighted, Allah will expand his sustenance till the end of that year…” (Refer: Az Ziyadah wal Ihsan fi ‘Ulumil Quran, vol. 2, pg. 402)

2025年3月3日 · Since the recital consist of salutations and verses of the Quran, it may be practised without deeming it to be a Sunnah recital for when the crescent of Ramadan is sighted. I have read somewhere that there is a Hadith that says if Surah Fatiha is recited forty one (41) times with bismillah, then it will cure any disease. I have also read somewhere else that it should be continued for forty (40) or forty one (41) days with bismillah joined to it.
