Suza Leon hails from Prince Rupert, British Columbia where she made her mark as a local track and field star at 13 when she broke the record by hurtling the high jump bar at 4 ft 8 in. At 17 she ran in “The Miss Prince Rupert” contest as Miss Daily News and was crowned “2cnd Princess.”

Female Singer SUZA LEON is the wife of guitarist/vocalist GREG LEON, of whom we also reviewed a CD. GREG LEON also plays most of the instruments and co-wrote most of the songs on the debut CD of SUZA. Musically, Greg's album was 80s melodic rock a la DOKKEN, but Suza's album is more 80s female fronted AOR/Melodic Poprock orientated.
