It also indicates that the rev-limiter is activating, and the engine will begin to misfire as you accelerate. If you've had no problems in the past, I wouldn't envision too flat a prop being the answer--unless you've changed boats.

2024年6月25日 · It originally had a Johnson 40 HP 15" shaft. I don't want to build the transom up and I also want to go with a 4 stroke. Looking at buying a low houred Suzuki 25 HP 4 stroke. I know 4 strokes weigh more and that's why I'm thinking the 25 HP 4 stroke will be a good replacement for the original 40 HP 2 stroke...plus these come in the 15" shaft.

2008年9月28日 · Re: 1997 dt25 suzuki 25hp 3 cylinder The man is talking a load of twaddle. The oiling systems on Suzuki are the best there is. As with all systems they can fail but this is a rarity for Suzuki. The carbs undoutedly need cleaning and this will probably solve the problem. However a compression test is the first order of the day.

2008年7月3日 · I recently picked up a Suzuki 25 HP Oil Injection 2 Stroke engine - I think its around a 93. With that said, it suffers the following symptoms: - Idles as long as I want, but if I put it in gear and keep the throttle low, it stalls after seemingly coughing - Checked over the fuel line from tank the motor, all is good. Primer bulb is good.

However a recent experience with a 1988 DT30, which is the same motor as the DT25, showed bits of impeller lodged in the water cavity where the water tube enters the block, scoring of the pump base plate and housing and a bad impeller.

2008年9月8日 · I have a 1995 Suzuki DT25, 3 clyender 3 carburator 25 hp 2 stroke motor. It has an electronic throttle valve sensor which needs to be reset often. Once the throttle valve sensor is set it runs fine then after a while the motor starts slowing down and the throttle valve sensor needs to be reset. Does anyone know why this is happening.
