Canvas is the main platform for online coursework. Students and instructors can use it to support their courses with web-based activities including, but not limited to, sharing course documents, having online discussions, completing quizzes and assignments, viewing your gradebook, and communicating with each other.

Login to Canvas using your MySVC email and password. If for some reason you can’t get your email and password to work, just click the “Login Issues?” and follow on the screen instructions on how to reset your password or how to get help.

Identify key information about your course. Navigate a Canvas course layout and hands-on experience with basic functions (post to a discussion, submit an assignment, take an online quiz).

Enroll in an online, self-paced Week Zero orientation on Canvas with your MySVC email and password. Online (eLearning) course: All instruction takes place online. The expectation is that students don’t have to come to class and are not required to be online at a particular time.
