The Swaledale breed of sheep is a breed native to Yorkshire, northern England. A hardy sheep with a thick coarse coat suited to mountainous/ exposed terrains and a harsh climate, the breed is known for its distinctive curly horns (on both rams and ewes) and black and white faces.
