2014年10月2日 · Swamp Cooler shut down/start up is really a nice do it yourself project if you have a ladder (if yours is on the roof), simple hand tools and a little common sense. Don't forget to switch the heating ductwork to winter or you will be heating the outside and unplug everything inside the swamper too.

Cools the first floor (and the garage even) just fine, the key with swamp coolers is that you have to open windows to direct the flow of cool air. If I open the side door in the garage, and the door to the house I get a ton of nice cool air coming into the garage.

2011年3月18日 · I replaced my swamp cooler and it was better. Once the heat goes above the 100 it is not as good but still bearable. With ceiling fans and a master cooler we are fine even though we have my mother-in-law. She is 90 and does not complain about the weather having a master cooler. We do have a couple of refrigerated air window units in our bedrooms.

2015年2月5日 · My swamp cooler often leaks while turned on. Sometimes it won't. I noticed after a while that there is a white residue left from the water leaking on the roof. any ideas what could be the problem and how I get rid of that white residue? Thanks! Daniel

2007年8月7日 · Swamp cooler is cheaper to run, but if you want comfort on humid days in the monsoon season, A/C is the way to go. A good efficient heat pump type unit will provide the comfort in the summer and winter without breaking your bank account.
