2023年2月9日 · I have a SA-GTI driving a Samyang 135 + TS2600 camera (similar to ASI2600MC), guided by PHD2. I drive it with EQMOD defining the mount as HEQ5, and it seems to work. The EQMOD site does not include the AS-GTI in the supported mounts (*).

I have just ordered my first star tracker, the SWSA GTi! I want to use it with my DSLR, the Canon 2000d, but I don't know if I can connect it with just my quick release plate or if I need a dovetail plate. Also, do I need an intervalometer or can I control the exposures with the SynScan app?

2023年3月24日 · I've been using my SWSA GTi with SynScanPro. It works fine. I find the alignment routine challenging sometimes because of the way it makes you choose the stars you're aligning with from a list, and I often have part of my sky obscured by trees. But it's manageable. I then use SynScan Pro for go-to control and tracking.
