T. Enami (江南 信國, Enami Nobukuni, 1859 – 1929) was the trade name of a Meiji period Japanese photographer. [1] The T. of his trade name is thought to have stood for Toshi, though he never spelled it out on any personal or business document.

The purpose of this site is to document the process and progress of the digital preservation of a select collection of T. Enami Lantern Slides from the mid-1890's to approximately 1905/6.

T. Enami (aka Enami Nobukuni 江南 信國 and Enami Tamotsu 江南 保) (1859-1929) was a professional photographer in Yokohama, Kanagawa. Operated the "T. Enami Photographic Studio" on Benten-dori street in Yokohama during 1892-1929. Served the foreign tourist market with souvenir photo albums, stereographs, lantern slides, and prints of Japan.

This selection of T. Enami albumen prints is mostly from his earliest 1892-95 period, just after opening his studio on Benten Street in Yokohama. However, some of his later Meiji-era material is included. The date ranges are clarified in the captions.
