2015年4月23日 · The goal of the Burlak project was to develop a unified fighting compartment for existing and prospective domestic tanks. It was assumed that the new combat compartment with minimal modifications should be installed on the machines of T-72B, T-80BV, T-90 types and even on the newest T-95 tank.

The T-90 is a third-generation Russian main battle tank developed from, and designed to replace the T-72. It uses a 125 mm 2A46 smoothbore main gun, the 1A45T fire-control system, an upgraded engine, and gunner's thermal sight.
