2014年10月21日 · The carbon steel Colt CT609 Canoe with T10 blades I have seems to have a good heat treat. 2013年5月27日 · Their carbon steel is "T10". From what I can tell, it also has a good heat treat, and can handle an acute 10DPS/20inclusive edge. I think T10 falls somewhere between 1095 and 5160. (taking them to 10 degrees per side also thins …

5160 vs. L6 vs. S7 Tool Steel - BladeForums.com
2005年12月20日 · S5 is both harder and tougher than S7, but it is an oil hardening steel and you can usually only find it in round bar. You might find a source for 9260 flat stock, which is S5 with less alloy. 5160, L6, and S5 can all easily reach 60 Rc, but that's pushing it for S7.
Opinions please S5 "shock steel" - BladeForums.com
1999年4月27日 · Justin Gingrich of Ranger Knives uses a fair amount of S7 . I have a couple of knives in S7 and I am very happy with them. S5 is a oil hardening steel while S7 is a air hardening steel but you can expect similar proformance from each. In my bug out bag is a Ranger S7 bowie partly bescause I have total faith in the steel.
