2021年8月21日 · One set that is repeatedly drawing attention is the American Tobacco Company’s T68 release. Issued in 1911, the set consists of two series. However, backs of the cards make it clear that this is one big 100-card set as opposed to two different issues.

Tobacco insert card from the "Heroes of History" series (T68), issued with Miners Extra Smoking Tobacco, Natural Leaf Scrap, and Royal Bengals Little Cigars in 1911. Half of the cards are titled "Men of History."

All four are represented in this set, including the rare "silver" Pan Handle Scrap variation found only in the Men series. The cards are most commonly found with Royal Bengals Little Cigar, Miner's Extra and Pan Handle Scrap backs but can also be found with the tougher Natural Leaf backs.

This 1911 T68 Pan Handle Scrap William Shakespeare card is graded SGC 1. It is 112 years old.

2014年5月16日 · Manchester Metrolink T68 1008 became the fifth T68/T68A to leave the north-west for scrapping when it departed on the back of a low loader at 0915 on Friday 16th May. It has been expected that the LRV would depart the previous day but the low loader had not arrived and so the movement was delayed by a day.
