They basically just let you do the entry, then you have to copy/paste the text into whatever app you want it in. Do some searching. Maybe you'll find something you like. "

So far I have not run across how to link to the phone keyboard on purpose, but I have had it do that by accident that I don't seem to be able to repeat.

2015年3月22日 · I don't really like using the QWERTY keyboard. I know that there's an app for using T9 but I don't like the idea of having to copy & paste into a message, it kind of defeats the purpose. Plus then every time I get a new message I would have to close out the message, open the app, and repeat the copy & paste process.

2013年6月10日 · Seems like most of the people are not aware of T9 prediction feature which 3*4 keypads provide. I hear people saying that you can type more efficiently in qwerty keypad. But i bet i can beat anybody who types in qwerty with a 3*4 keypad of mine with T9 prediction in speed, accurary and everything else.

2012年10月31日 · While T9 is generally used for word suggestions while having to strike the same number several times for different letters, the iPhone keyboard will also make some word suggestions based on the letters you have already typed as well.

2022年12月20日 · Apple instead has a Favorites list; just put the contacts you call regularly in Favorites, then tap Phone, Favorites, and the name of the person you want to call. Much faster than T9. Or say “Hey Siri, Call Sally" But if you really want to live in the previous century there are several T9 keyboard apps in the app store.
