
Can not enable NetBios over TCP/IP on shared network interface
So I unchecked the box in front of Client for Microsoft Networks and checked it again - this did set the checkbox for both Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6). This immediatly solved the issue for me and NetBIOS over TCP/IP works now. (This was on a Windows Server 2008 with installed SP2.)
