2018年7月19日 · The TDA1543 accepts any sample rate up to 192 kHz but does not oversample. For best performance, you will need to use an upsampling software player. The PCM1710U oversamples by 8x but only supports up to 48 kHz inputs.

2018年7月19日 · In the case of TDA1543 the on-chip current source is a significant weakness, to get the best from it its necessary to disable that (pin7 left OC) and use an external one to bias up the passive I/V resistor. I don't think the designer's done that in this case which in my experience weakens the bass impact.

Made by a Frenchman who was impressed enough with the TDA1543 to design his own dac. He appears to have other non-audio products and seems to know what he is doing so I took a chance. Runs on 9v and/or external PS.

2021年4月17日 · A word regarding NOS and OS, I did some tests and, after a few days of listening, concluded that once more, I couldn’t spot a clear difference between the two but once again the NOS exhibited a few more artifacts during my listening, adding unwanted “cracks” and “noise” at random moments, so I mostly use the OS mode.

2009年7月25日 · The TDA1543 is only 16 bit but input is 176.4 capable (designed for upto 4 times external oversampling) Therefore the absolute maximum (lowest common denominator) would be 16bit and 96kHz - so I think it's probably best to consider it only for CD quality 16/44.1 material.
