The Hazardous Environment Combat Unit (usually abbreviated as HECU) is a United States Marine Corps Special Forces Unit which deals with the threat of TF2 Monsters. The HECU is an elite combat unit the size of a battalion, that is about 800 active members.

2023年5月2日 · It's not unbelievable that a soldier would have a gasmask, lthough a more ww2-styled one would probably fit better, it's cool to have more half-life items in tf2. The HECU gas mask is based off a gas mask that was made in 1959. It fits the time period. The only possible issue, art style wise, would be the colour scheme.

Troopers are GRY Demomen TF2 Freak super soldiers employed by the HECU. They were created by YouTube user SarisKhan. Troopers are GRY Demomen who may be either dark- or light-skinned. They equip Battle Bowler, Attack Essentials, Mann's Magnums and Camouflage Coat. In addition, they usually carry the Bulkhead in combat.
