CCTGA - ACHA
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (CCTGA) is a rare heart defect in which the heart’s lower half is reversed. It is also called L-TGA. It is different from and much less common than “regular” transposition of the great arteries (TGA or D-TGA). To understand CCTGA, it helps to first understand how a normal heart works.
Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (CCTGA) is a rare heart defect affecting less than one percent of all people with congenital heart disease (CHD). This means there are only about 5,000 to 10,000 people in the United States with this condition. In CCTGA, the heart’s pumping chambers (called ventricles) are reversed.
Levo-Transposition of the great arteries - Wikipedia
Levo-Transposition of the great arteries is an acyanotic congenital heart defect in which the primary arteries (the aorta and the pulmonary artery) are transposed, with the aorta anterior and to the left of the pulmonary artery; the morphological left and right ventricles with their corresponding atrioventricular valves are also transposed.
Transposition of the Great Arteries - StatPearls - NCBI Bookshelf
Congenitally corrected TGA (ccTGA) is a complex congenital heart defect (CHD) characterized by misalignment of the ventricles and transposition of the great arteries, resulting in ventricular discordance where the ventricles are not properly aligned with their corresponding atria.
Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries:
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (cc-TGA) is a complex congenital heart disease with 2 mistakes in formation of the segmental cardiac connections: atrioventricular discordance—the right atrium is connected to the left ventricle (LV) and the left atrium is connected to the right ventricle (RV); and ventriculoarterial ...
Heart Disease in Infant, …
Anatomic and Physiologic Repair of Congenitally Corrected …
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (ccTGA) is a rare cardiac anomaly. The management strategy historically consisted of physiologic repair, leaving the morphologic right ventricle to support the systemic circulation. More recently, anatomic repair has been implemented to bring the left ventricle into the systemic ...
Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries (ccTGA)
Corrected transposition of the great arteries (ccTGA) is characterized by abnormal connections between the atrium, ventricles and great arteries (atrioventricular and ventriculoarterial discordance). In ccTGA the ventricles are L looped.
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries
2019年10月15日 · Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (CCTGA) is a rare congenital heart lesion with varied morphological presentation and can often by asymptomatic. A failing systemic right ventricle (RV) or increasing tricuspid regurgitation are generally indications for surgical intervention.
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (cc-TGA, also known as L-transposition) is a rare condition that represents approximately 0.5% of congenital heart disease. It is characterized by atrioventricular and ventriculoarterial discordance. Patients with cc …
