2007年3月19日 · TGV = tumble generator valve It is supposed to help reduce emissions at low speeds; mostly, it serves as an obstruction to good airflow, and to produce a CEL when either the motor or the (very sensitive) sensor (which is just a throttle position sensor) break. They are located in the riser piece under the intake manifold and on top of the block.

This isn't carte blanche to re-use gaskets akimbo, but re-using gaskets here isn't a deal breaker like it can be in say the pre-turbo side of the house.

2014年5月10日 · When installing a TGV sensor remember to preload the TGV by starting with the sensor 90 degrees counter clock wise of its final position (on left side that means plug will be at 12:00), push the sensor against the mating surface, turn 90 degrees clockwise to the final resting position and bolt (or glue in my case) her down.

2018年12月31日 · Had to remove the d/s TGV motor when I did my injectors (08 WRX), then again last night I had to remove the p/s TGV motor to get the PL motorsports AVCS line installed. I was wondering about reinstallation. I just made sure I didnt move the 1/4 cog attached to the shaft, or the cog attached to the motor.

2016年1月25日 · Could be the TGV sensor or the wire(s) going to it. I've heard of people getting this code when the TGV are disconnected. The TGV sensor is the same from 02-06. 2007+ has a new TGV motor design that incorporates the sensor. The TGV sensor is also the same as the TPS (throttle pos. sens.) on WRX (cable throttles not DBW).

2015年8月24日 · Then copy all instances of (TGV OPEN) tables in ATR into the (TGV CLOSED) tables. This will make the conditions the same for any TGV actions the ECU still has programmed in. As of this date, there isn't a way to get into the TGV tables, so this is the most effective method for ensuring smooth operation.
