If you're trying to load to AR15 magazine length (2.260"), the 77gr TMK will be positioned so deep that the bullet ogive is below the case mouth. You also get slightly reduced case capacity because the bullet is so long (depends on kernel size and powder).

2024年8月13日 · I am working on a 22-250 with a 1/8 twist. I have narrowed it down to these two bullets to try. I am finding the 77gr TMK for cheaper then the 80gr ELD-X. I know the 77 TMK has a very proven track record. Is there any reason to pay the extra money for the 80gr ELD-X?

2017年6月27日 · I think you'll like the ELD-M line better as well; depending on what distance you're looking at, you might want to move up to the 178gr - they're excellent out to 1000+ and you can use the data from the 178gr BTHP Match that's readily available.

2018年5月7日 · I have tried the 77 SMK, 77 TMK, 75 Hornady BTHP and the 73 gr ELD. The 73 gr ELD was the least accurate for me out of 3 hand lapped barrels. I have the Nosler 77's but have not loaded to test yet.
