If you don’t have a lot of time, opt for the historic Missionary Ridge Local ride, which takes riders on a 6-mile, 55-minute journey over four bridges along the former Southern Railway tracks.

The Tennessee Central Railway Museum is a living history museum that offers historical theme based train rides on select Saturdays. This is our primary focus. The Museum currently does not have regular hours during week.

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum (TVRM) in Chattanooga delves into the city’s rich railway history, dating back to 1850. Despite the decline of the rail industry in the mid-20th century, local enthusiasts founded TVRM in 1961 to preserve and restore historic railway equipment.
