When conducting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), be sure that each humane box trap has a trap tag fixed to it. The trap tag includes important information like: your contact information, the trap number, the location where each cat should be returned, and language alerting the public that humane trapping is in progress and not to disturb the traps.
Members of your community are caring for the cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We are taking the cats to get spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped (the universal symbol of a neutered and vaccinated cat). We then return healthy, adult community cats—also called feral cats—to their outdoor home. Do not touch or move traps.
