2024年3月19日 · Hi All, I'm a newbie and looking for information regarding the 104 Coy RASC. I've just had the War Diary for 1944 digitised and am wading my way through the accronyms and various maps online regarding their movements. It looks like they were based at Weald Hall near Brentwood until 7 April 1944 when they moved to Warley Barracks, also in Brentwood.

SGT Grant Munday, 44 Tpt Sqn, 2FSB was fare-welled from the Squadron upon retirement in April 2011. Grant enlisted in 44 Coy, RAASC in 1966. He was presented his Federation Star by the Chief of Army in 2010.

These photos depict people and machines frp, 1Coy HQ, 1 Tpt. Platoon and 87 Tpt. Pl. Its quite interesting the clarity of some of them, as most were taken on what was known as a 'half frame' camera, designed to get twice as many shots per film.
