2019年1月13日 · In my opinion doing a V8 conversion on a car like a TR6 doesn't offer near the return for the buck, that a solid rebuild and tuning of your current engine will, when mated to a 5 speed.

2003年6月16日 · I drove my 69 TR6 today for the first time since 1987. The V8 conversion I did wasn't easy and most of my original TR6 is long gone. Only the outer shell and the front suspension remain. Whats it like to try and put 500+ HP to the ground in a TR6? Scary is a word that comes to mind. Hard to get the smile off my face.

2005年8月22日 · V8 built be me, the tr6 engine was built by some company in alabama. Both cars are fun, but the inline six built well with triple carbs fits the car the best fit.

2024年7月25日 · Wow! $70k with 3 bidders into the high-$60k range. That puts it top 4 in BaT listings for a TR6. So much for an engine swap and RATCO frame diminishing its value. Personally, I think this is good news. Only helps with the draw for the marque, similar to an Outlaw Porsche (but obv not the same…) Oh and BaT just listed another TR6 with a V8 swap…
