Every Sims launch today equals one blocked app. I marked TS4_x64.exe as trustworthy and the game runs fine again. Maybe this helps some of you. < >

2021年5月2日 · I have added all of the files to my malwarebytes and windows defender exception lists (origin.exe, originclient.exe, ts4.exe, ts4_x64.exe, etc,) with no success. When I try to click either my origin or sims 4 shortcuts I get that prompt. Yesterday I clicked yes and I was able to go to the origin window, hit play, and start.

C:\SteamLibary\steamapps\common\The Sims 4 \Game\Bin if on Steam. Select the rendering API according to what you run your game on (Direct X 9 or Direct X 10/11/12).

2023年1月5日 · I use Avast Anti-virus software and I was unable to locate the TS4 .exe file in my entire computer to add it to the exceptions. Interestingly the Legacy edition of the .exe file exists and is within my exceptions however I cannot load the game on this .exe file. When I've searched the entire PC, the exe file (TS4_x64.exe) does not exist.

Either turn it off completely or click on Allow an app through Controlled folder access > Add an allowed app and select Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe (or Game\Bin_LE\TS4.exe if you want to run the Legacy Edition). 2024年2月12日 · Also, I'm aware of the Visual C++ stuff. I was able to install the x86 but not the x64, Instead I get huge popups full of crazy stuff when i try to install it . The images of what happens when I do this are attached to this post just in case anyone asks? idk I really hope there's some sort of solution to this, I've tried almost everything.
