Toronto Transit Commission 7900-7979 are Orion 07.501 buses built and delivered in 2006. The Commission awarded a contract for 330 buses, made up of 150 diesel-electric hybrid and 180 clean diesel buses to Orion in early 2005. Due to the unplanned retirement of a number of older buses, the TTC needed buses before the planned delivery date.
