2021年5月4日 · The H4 Class Cars were the last of the early model Hawker-Siddeley cars to be delivered to the TTC. In 1976, the first of the chopper-control equipped H5 series were delivered.

Some H-4 cars were retired when T1-series cars were delivered. In 2006, the TTC placed an order with Bombardier Transportation for the first 39 articulated Toronto Rocket (TR) trains to be operated on the Yonge–University-Spadina (YUS) line. This allowed the TTC to retire the remaining H-4 and H-5 cars. [4][5]

The Hawker Siddeley Canada H4 was a type of subway car built for the Toronto Transit Commission. They were classified as H4 by the TTC, but were based on the common Hawker Siddeley RT75 design of previous cars. The 88 H4 cars were ordered in 1973 and delivered between 1974 and 1975.
