Feb 20, 2013 · Tums can be given to the doe as an emergency source of calcium till you can get something better. Doe's should be getting alfalfa hay or pellets when about to kid. I use the berry flavor and they just gobble them up. I give 10 2x a day. You can use the store brand but it MUST be the equivalent of TUMS!!!!! No Rolaids or other antacid form!!!!

Dec 18, 2013 · I use Tums after kidding but it isnt the best to give just by itself because it is lacking in the other minerals that will help absorption. I mix about 3 or 4 crushed tums with molasses and they eat it well. I only give this before and after kidding.

Jan 29, 2009 · Tums isn't really necessary but it does help with the shell growth. The downside is it clouds the water rather easily although no harm is done in the process. It just takes hours for it to clear out. I dose Tums daily and use flavored ones. Unflavored ones are ignored. You can try Caltrate (without Vitamin D added).

Dec 8, 2013 · Another use-- when our 50lb wether got into grain and had a really upset tummy, our goat vet had us give him Tums, one twice a day for 2 days to soothe his stomach (along with charcoaling him, vit B injections, and probios, and lots of alfalfa hay)....

Aug 30, 2012 · IME white grapefruit is incredibly effective with oxycodone. Cimetidine is good too but not as much. Never used tums but oxycodone is 80-90% efficient orally, so there's not much room for improvement as far as the drug making it into your blood. However you can increase the duration/power a ton by using the enzyme inhibitiors.

I know someone already kinda danced around my question but: say I take 40mg ir. Then I take another 20mg 3hrs later. If 15-20 min after the last dose will eating 4-5 tums have any effect at all?
