2024年6月13日 · This logo was created to celebrate the arrival of color television for CBC/Radio-Canada. The rainbow butterfly became an iconic symbol of the network’s transition to color broadcasting. The logo’s vibrant and colorful design symbolized a new era of television.

This logo was used at the beginning of color programming aired on CBC Television. Their symbol was the CBC Butterfly, which was the CBC's answer to the NBC Peacock.

Visuals: On a moving red background, there is the CBC logo in white. The text "CBC" is below the logo. Underneath, there is the text "produced in association with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation". Variants: On Canadian airings of Cyberchase, the logo is bylineless. There's also a zoomed-in or streched widescreen version of this logo.

The official logo of CBC, which consists of the CBC gem with "CBC Radio-Canada" in between the gem, zooms out into a interlocking pattern of CBC logos. A red circle appears and spreads out into the gem as the pattern of logos zooms out and fades away, leaving the gem slowly zooming in.

2024年1月16日 · The red "gem", adopted by the CBC in 1992, is a simplified version of the corporation's logo used between 1974 and 1992. The logo was simplified to improve its visibility on analogue television screens. The logo's simplification also made reproduction easier, as it is made up of only 13 geometric sections, as opposed to 25 in the previous logo.
