K-9 TVC Gen 2 is the next generation of our TVC gimbal development employing a radically new approach. Generation 2 employed the "half mount" design, which allows the user to very easily align the mount perfectly centered without the need for jigs or complex tooling.

The Gimbal, directing the thrust of the rocket, is essentially the main difference between a normal model rocket and a TVC Rocket. There are a TON of good, free designs out there and unless you happen to be incredibly good at CAD there probably isn't any reason to design your own.

The mount is composed of mostly 3D printed parts and can actuate two solid rocket motor to change the direction of thrust. Once the first motor is done burning, it passively ejects from the vehicle, making room for the landing motor.
