2016年8月10日 · This 1986 TVR 280i is a US-market convertible with 56k miles on its Cologne V6 and four-speed manual gearbox. Known as the Tasmin in the UK, the handbuilt 280i was the last TVR to be exported to the USA and fewer than 500 are thought to have made it here altogether.

2009年7月16日 · This new TVR Tasmin appeared first in a coupe version and later that year, a convertible followed with a very ingenious three-position top that was very easy to operate. As was the case with previous TVRs, the new angular fiberglass body was mounted to a sturdy tubular steel chassis that was longer than the previous M-series.

The TVR Tasmin 280i was introduced as the successor of the Tasmin 200 in 1984. This newer model was now powered by a Ford Cologne 2.8L V6 that was capable of 160hp and 162 lbs/ft. Power was sent to the rear wheels via a 4 or 5 speed manual transmission, although a 3-speed automatic was also available.

2018年10月9日 · After a few years’ absence from this market, TVR introduced the Tasmin with a fuel-injected 2.8-liter Ford “Cologne” V-6 making 145 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque, which was mated to a four-speed manual and could push the sub-2,400-pound convertible to 60 mph in under 10 seconds and on to 130 mph.

It boasted independent rear suspension and solid chassis engineering by ex-Lotus engineer Oliver Winterbottom. Power was supplied by Ford of Germany’s “Cologne” V6, a 2.8-liter unit with Bosch fuel injection that made 145 hp.
