Initially available as a fastback coupe with a choice of engines, the M was joined in 1976 by the Taimar which had an opening rear and in 1978 by the 3000S which was TVR’s first production convertible.

It was however recognised as a properly converted and therefore sanctioned car via John Wedman. as a sanctioned Dealer converted car then in theory its provenance for homologation purposes should be entirely possible.

2014年5月18日 · In North America TVR sold the 2500M which featured Triumph TR6 running gear - this engine had already passed US emissions tests. Triumph introduced the TR7 and ceased sale of the TR6. John Wadman, President of TVR North America began a project in 1974 to replace the straight six Triumph engine with a 302 Ford V8.
