The TVR Wedges are a series of wedge-shaped sports cars built by British specialist sports car manufacturer TVR between 1980 and 1991. There were 2-seat convertibles and 2-seater or 2+2 liftback coupés, with four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines from a variety of manufacturers.

2024年9月21日 · Powered by a 4.4 liter Rover V8, the TVR 450SE generated 320 bhp and 310 lb ft of torque, reaching a top speed of 155 mph. With only a 1,216 kg (2,681 lbs) curb weight, the car delivered impressive performance for a low-volume British manufacturer in the late 1980s.

TVR offered the option of the 4.2 litre engine from the 420SEAC to create the rare 420SE. 1986 - TVR launched the 300bhp 420SEAC, SEAC standing for: Special Equipment, Aramid Composite. The SEAC styling was a lot less ‘angular’ than the 350/390 and the SEAC became the most rounded looking wedge produced.

The TVR 450 SEAC is a sports car designed and built by TVR in a one-year only run. [1] It used the same body style as the 420 SEAC but was fibreglass compared with the Aramid Composite (Glassfibre and Kevlar) body of the 420 and the same chassis.

TVR’s great era largely came in the last 15 years of its life, with a slew of seductively shaped performance cars that punched above their weight – Griffith, Cerbera, Chimeara, Sagaris, T350, Tuscan… even the Tamora, so often criticised, looks stunning these days. However, this overlooks the TVR wedges.
