TW200: Can it handle the TAT? - Adventure Rider
Sep 16, 2009 · Hell ya a TW200 can do the TAT. It has the low gearing for the Mountains, and with correct jetting no problems. pack light and I hope you not camping. I love the low 1st gear, but I didn't have the TW long enough to gauge tire wear, you might need to stage some tires, finding spares might not be easy on the trail.
TW200 - Adventure Rider
Jun 12, 2011 · The TW200 is a great TRAIL bike. It's a fun commuter too, so long as there is no interstate involved. It excels at slow-paced exploration over and through stuff, and it's low enough to get both legs out and paddle walk through the truly gnarly stuff. If you want to go FAST off-road, then the TW200 is not really for you.
