Jul 2, 2018 · Thanks Dennis , 4/0 almuminum is good yes but only for calculated loads of up to 189 amps For example if this was to be overhead service it would be hydro who installs and owns the service conductors and I wouldn’t imagine them using any load calculations and just use a conductor sufficient for all installations.
