2024年6月29日 · Je mets "câlisse" dans la catégorie du haut avec "tabarnak" et "sacrament". Je vois "osti" comme un petit sacre, comme "crisse" ou "ciboire". Y'a une question de prononciation aussi, notamment comment on décide de faire claquer certaines consonnes ou d'allonger les "sss". Bref, y'a un aspect subjectif donc. Intéressant, merci.

It's a Quebecois swear word. Sort of like the "F" word in English, but with fewer meanings. Tabarnak never refers to sex for example. They probably started using it a few hundred years ago since nobody says that in France.
