2010年12月20日 · I am in great shape and just a bit smaller than SnowKanin 5'11" 185 there was no protection to save my tailbone and I paid for many weeks. Many of the shorts do have to small of a pad. This is why I bought Skeletools and the Azzpadz, they had the best coverage to help disperse the impact zone. I looked at Red, uncomfortable and to small of a pad.

2016年11月1日 · I love my azzpadz d30. cumbersome at first, but once you get used to it, you'll just wear it without second thought. 2011年12月30日 · Here you can see the 2ply VPD, tailbone pad pulled out (obviously removeable) which is only about 1 cm thick. You'd think they'd offer more protection here than the hip. Either way, nice option to be able to pull it out incase you want to use them as mountain biking crash shorts or something. About the VPD padding.

2008年4月6日 · The tailbone pad is actully kind of thin. But like people have already said, there are cheaper alternatives that work just as well. Hockey gear is one, football is another. If I want to wear a tailbone pad, I just get my football girdle (holds the tail/hip pads), and just put the tailbone pad in it. Total cost, about $20.

2008年1月11日 · Thanks for the info on this thread. I took a hard fall a week ago and wondered if my tailbone was broken or just badly bruised. My entire rear is pretty black and blue, and the tailbone area is black and blue as well. First thing that came to my mind right after the fall was, "I need to invent some butt pads".

2013年2月23日 · That friggin tailbone pad adds a little bulk and makes my rear end look... kinda large. But the long length of the jacket actually covers it completely and after comparing in the mirror, looks exactly the same as it does without the bulk of the tailbone pad.

2010年1月17日 · I think what happened the first time was how I fell and where the plastic tailbone protection was positioned. I have since moved it up on the velcro, as close as I can to the top of the foam pad (about a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch) and I have'nt felt a fall since.
