Isaac collaborated with instrumentalist Alain Auger in the musical project Taima (Inuktitut for "that's all" or "it is done" [6][7]) in the early 2000s. The band's sole album, Taima, won the Juno Award for Aboriginal Recording of the Year in 2005.

Released in 2004, Taima’s self-titled album is the result of a collaboration between Inuk singer Elisapie Isaac and Abitibi-born composer Alain Auger. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the duo's only opus, Bonsound now releases a remastered version of the album on all music services.

She accepted the invitation... but since singing wasn’t part of her career aspirations at the time, she left the band to concentrate on her real passion: communications. At 15, she was the host and producer of a radio show for teenagers broadcasted by TNI in Salluit.
