Talking Gina the Giraffe was an interactive-virtual pet app developed by Outfit7. It was released on 19 February 2011. The app was then removed from the app stores in late 2014 for unknown reasons, possibly because of her character being retired in 2014-ish in favor of other characters.

In Talking Friends, Gina appears as a squeaky toy, rather than a real giraffe. Aside from being a lot shorter, there are hardly any notable changes in Gina's design in comparison to the apps, the only exception being her eyes are further apart. Gina is kind-hearted and friendly to everyone.
