The Tarkatan Xenomorph, known as the Alien in-game, was a Xenomorph Drone born from the body of the Tarkatan warrior Baraka. It, alongside the Predator, features as a downloadable guest character in the 2015 video game Mortal Kombat X.

The Tarkatan Xenomorph was created, when a Tarkatan general was impregnated by a Facehugger spawned from an Ovomorph. The Xenomorph bursted out of his chest as a Chestburster and later grew to become an adult Xenomorph.

The Tarkatan Xenomorph is a strain of Xenomorph born from a Tarkatan host. Although, by genetic identification, this strain is identified as "Tarkatan", this Xenomorph is only one of three variations of this specific strain.

2024年6月4日 · While the Acidic and Konjurer Xenomorphs focused on ranged attacks, the Tarkatan liked to get close and personal, dealing deadly blows with its bladed claws. This Xeno type was unsurprisingly born from the Tarkatan species, who inhabited the Outworlds in the Mortal Kombat lore.

The Xenomorphs had descended on Outworld long ago, but the dormant eggs they left behind were only recently found. The leader of the Tarkatan patrol had picked up one of the leathery orbs, only to have it burst open and its occupant latch itself to its face.
