2022年4月3日 · Our research demonstrates that Raman scattering in bulk 1T-TaS 2 is a complex phenomenon, which must be analyzed in terms of the influence of light illumination, resonant effects, and optical activity. Bulk 1T-TaS 2 (hqGraphene) crystals were examined by means of Raman spectroscopy using a Horiba T64000 spectrometer.

1976年11月1日 · Raman measurements on the 1 T -polytype of TaS 2 are reported. In the commensurate charge density wave state, a large number of Raman-active peaks are observed below 400 cm -1. Most of these peaks are attributed to k = 0 optic phonons resulting from superlattice formation.

2001年1月12日 · The present work demonstrates that the three Raman modes observed above 220 cm −1 (high frequency region) at room temperature exhibit remarkable frequency changes toward low wavenumbers in the vicinity of 200 K, where 1T-TaS 2 undergoes a first-order transition of the charge density wave (CDW) from nearly commensurate to a commensurate state.

Raman spectra obtained under circularly polarized excitation demonstrate that 1T-TaS2 indeed shows ROA, providing strong evidence that 1T-TaS2 is chiral under the used conditions of laser excitation. Our results suggest that ROA may be used as a universal tool to study chiral properties of quantum materials.
