The Tatra K1 was an experimental tramcar developed by ČKD Tatra between 1964 and 1965. Previous Tatra units were concerned primarily with increasing capacity in a single tramcar. Tatra sought to correct this shortcoming by developing its first articulated tramcar, the K1.

Tatra-Yug K1 is a Ukrainian tram family based on Tatra T6B5. The trams were designed by former Ukrainian ČKD branch Tatra-Yug at Pivdenmash aerospace factory in Dnipro.

Nach Abschluss dieser Erprobungen kamen die Fahrzeuge nach Prag zum Hersteller Tatra zurück.

Tatra K1 je typ dvojčlánkovej električky vyrobenej česko-slovenským podnikom ČKD Praha, závod Tatra Smíchov v dvoch prototypoch na prelome rokov 1964 a 1965. Ide o prvú česko-slovenskú kĺbovú električku. Tatra K1 bola odvodená zo štandardného vozňa Tatra T3.
