The PCM56 one is really amazing in terms of detail and layering In all honesty though, all these 90's DACs I tried (TDA1305, TDA1387, TDA1543, TDA1541A, PCM56) are very excellent to my ears compared with today's Delta Sigma DACs. But I prefer multibit over 1-bit (TDA1305) in general.

2020年7月22日 · I have a Nobsound TDA1387, and with a linear psu it sounds decidedly NOT like garbage. It actually sounds scary good for the price. The DAC is the perfect change of pace compliment to my Denafrips Ares 2 at about 20 times the price. Ironically, my second, upgraded TDA1387 DAC should be delivered later today.

2020年7月22日 · TDA1387 chip the same, this specific model is actually OS. I agree that HPA is not top quality, it sounds better on the RCA connection, but I disagree, it is not noisy. It sounds fine with HD40 BTNC, but not able to drive HD600 properly.

2018年4月26日 · I find it amazing how the sound quality appears to be more pleasing than many sigma/delta based DAC's. I compare it with ES9018 based designs ($1k range). The tech specs of the TDA1387 don't suggest superiority, but in the end, the audible results matter more to my ears. Huge soundstage, high resolution but vinyl-like warmth, high dynamic.
