2015年5月18日 · I thought I would post my review of TDK AD, recorded on a TEAC-V1050 to post my experience of this. I was given a brick of 5 for free. I find the sound is 'closest' to the source with the bias at the 11 o clock position.

TDK AD was a reasonably good type I cassette. It evolved from TDK SD and appreared first around 1977.

A friend of mine who used to own a local HIFI shop in my area called me and told me he found 53 1985 TDK AD 90's in his house buried in the back of his daughters closet. I have experience with Maxell UD which I think is the comparable tape to AD, I don't remember ever using AD. I like Maxell UD, how would AD compare?
