2021年6月27日 · I like the A3 in my fender Original Vintage bridge pickup living in my main Tele. But I also really like the A5 Pure Vintage 64 bridge pickup in my other Tele. The OV sounds stronger and more mid focused to me. While the PV is cleaner and very slightly mid forward. I doubt any of this has to do with the magnets though.

2025年1月5日 · It’s been bridge pickup for 95% of my playing existence, 1. Because I like the sound and 2. Laziness/clumsiness. I am usually either too focused or not focused enough when playing, so I forget to switch off the bridge pickup or skip it so I don’t mess up.

2003年3月24日 · I set mine so the volume is equal when comparing the neck pickup tone on 10 with the Bridge pickup with the tone rolled back where I normally have it for bridge pickup. So leaving the tone alone the bridge is slightly louder. I set the bridge pickup to where it sounds good, then I set the neck compared to it like described above.

2015年11月12日 · Shouldn't be an issue with a firebird neck pickup since it shouldn't have a very high inductance. I recommend a 1:1.5 to 1:2 inductance ratio. So, if the neck pickup measures 3 Henries inductance, a bridge pickup with an inductance of 4.5 Henries to 6 Henries would generally be ideal, but it also depends what you want from the guitar.

2023年5月14日 · So when I adjust my pickups, I always adjust the neck pickup 1st with the volume and tone knobs full on and the amp turned up to a level I usually play at. When I get the "best" sound for me, then I start adjusting the bridge pickup to "blend" with the neck in the middle position and of course to stand alone when switched on.
