Tenorio Volcano (Spanish: Volcán Tenorio) is an inactive andesitic stratovolcano in north-western Costa Rica. It is the main geographical feature of the eponymous Tenorio Volcano National Park. [1] The name comes from the Chorotega legend of Eskameca and Tenorí.
