Tew Jiath (born 2 March 2005) [1] is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League. Born in a refugee camp in Ethiopia to South Sudanese parents, Jiath, along with his family, moved to Australia in 2007 when he was just 2 years old. [2]

Drafted at Pick 37 in the 2023 National Draft, Jiath provides speed and athleticism off half back. Making his AFL debut in Round 14 of 2024 against North Melbourne, Jiath showed those traits in what was his only game of the season. He comes into 2025 with a second pre-season under his belt, looking to build on a great first year at the Pies.
