Since I had the engine apart for misc. upgrades, I decided it was time to go to a 2 inch header in search of a few extra ponies for my 13.7:1 429ci n/a mill.

2016年8月1日 · Members like me and others know Texas Speed from the LSx world, and they are serious contenders in the market, having custom ground cams, as well as off the shelf stuff, and once they got more successful and build up a base, they got into other markets like headers offering alternatives to the usual suspects (ARH, Kooks, SW) at half the price.

I'm up front and honest about what I spent for my project. My decision was made solely based on O2 bung placement as I run e-85. Literally tossed a coin between ARH and kooks.

2016年9月22日 · The actual headers were the most straight forward part as they can only fit one way, the x pipe, mid pipe sections can be a pain, really just the first section from headers to X pipe, after that fit absolutely perfect.-Remove all the engine covers, strut bar brace, coil packs, spark plugs, oil dipstick, and anything else you may have in the way.

Texas Speed has their 1 7/8 headers back in stock. I ordered a set with their high flow cats. Quality and finish is great and the install was straight forward. And, they sound freakin awesome! Video to follow shortly.

2019年10月4日 · Really they were a very easy install, it took me maybe 4 hrs for the headers and some more time because I did some other stuff.
