2020年9月29日 · Disney's Lion King Prequel Casts Mufasa the first two voice actors have been hired for Jenkins' Lion King project. Aaron Pierre, who starred in Amazon's The Underground Railroad (which Jenkins created, co-wrote, and directed) and recently appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's Old, will be voicing Mufasa in the upcoming prequel story.

I think people mistake Optimus' death (which was done purely for commercial reasons) as some big mature leap in children's entertainment. But the movie doesn't handle the issue of death with Lion King-level maturity and tact.
ROTF was doomed by overambition combined with bad writing
2024年11月29日 · One thing I recently started thinking about ROTF (and feeds into other films) is that they added too much too quickly. Considering how Photorealistic CGI costs a lot to achieve well, they should have either moved to making it animated or chose to add a few new characters. They instead decided to add too much whilst keeping the Live-Action elements.
